The boring but important part

- I am responsible for including my name, date of wedding and contact phone number in the box with my flowers before sending, and if I do not do this, my flowers may be discarded.
- If flowers and any additional items sent, are lost or damaged during transit Memories In Flower Preservation will not be responsible for the value of the flowers or any other items sent or the incidental loss or damages.

- The date I deliver/post my flowers to Memories In Flower Preservation should be as soon after the event as possible to ensure the best results possible.

- If my flowers arrive and are deemed unworkable by Memories In Flower Preservation the order will be cancelled and I will receive a refund for the amount paid, less the deposit.
- Once my flowers have been sent to Memories In Flower Preservation, and the preservation process has begun, they are unable to be sent back to me unless in the completed keepsake(s).
- I give the artist of Memories In Flower Preservation creative freedom to design the keepsake(s) how they believe looks best. I understand that if I want any input into the design, I need to make Memories In Flower Preservation aware of this in writing and that Memories In Flower Preservation will consider my request and inform me if this is or is not possible.
- I understand that not all of my flowers will be used due to thickness, flower condition or lack of space in the keepsake. Any flowers left over are the property of Memories In Flower Preservation.
- I understand that during the preservation process flowers do fade and will change colour/shade and appearance. White flowers may turn cream in colour, transparency of petals. Red and pink flowers may darken. Flowers change tone and they tend to shrink a little. Some flowers dry a lot better than others – this will depend on the type
of flower and the age of the flower, if your arrangement is all one type of flower and
you have concerns over their suitability feel free to message me to discuss them. There is a possibility that the flowers may become dull over time. There is a possibility that flowers may bleed colour. We do not offer a touch up service on flowers at present so if your flowers are discoloured on arrival this is how they will look in resin. Due to the nature of resin and flowers being a natural product, once the flowers are submerged additional bruising to flowers may show up – we have no control over this. This will depend on how flowers were handled before arriving to us. Fading of the flowers and colour change when I display my keepsake is to be expected. I understand that if I keep my keepsake in direct sunlight, this will accelerate the fading.
- Once your flowers have been dried or pressed and are ready to cast the remainder of the fee must be paid. If the fee is not paid in full within 7 days of the invoice sent then the flowers will not be cast and Memories In Flower Preservation have the right to cancel the order with no refunds.
- We use a high-quality UV resistant resin for all of our pieces. All of our resin work is handmade. Please expect some small bubbles within your items, sometimes on the surface. We work very hard to minimise these but it is the nature of flowers to trap air within the petals, so it is sometimes unavoidable. Some pour lines may be visible on your finished pieces.
- Due to the handmade nature of the product and the use of dried flowers it is possible for small breakages to happen when they are submerged. The product is fluid and as such small pieces may move. Every care is made during the process to get the very best from the flowers you send. We reserve the right to refuse production if flowers arrive damaged or dead.
- Every piece we make is one of a kind and so we consider small imperfections to be part of the charm of a handmade piece. As your items are handmade, they will not look like they have been manufactured by machine. As a result of handcrafted items each and every single item has a unique quality. Resin products will have a slight variation either caused by making or during the finishing of your products.
- Please keep your resin pieces away from direct sunlight and chemicals (perfume, polishes, cleaning sprays, soaps etc). Resin can be wiped over with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Resin can scratch so keep it away from rough/sharp surfaces. Resin can discolour over time.
- I understand that any of my flowers which are not used within the keepsake(s) will not be returned to me and will be discarded.
- I understand that Memories In Flower Preservation does not take responsibility for poor results due to age, condition, variety and colour upon receipt of the flowers. I understand that Memories In Flower Preservation is not responsible for damage or loss of flowers due to power failure, fire, flood, equipment failure or any other acts of nature beyond our control. However, Memories In Flower Preservation shall immediately notify (customer) and may offer to refund customer’s payment or to replace the flowers, at our discretion.
- Due to limited space, I understand that I must agree to pick-up the finished keepsake(s) within 5 days of notification by Memories In Flower Preservation. I understand that if I have not collected ,arranged for pick-up or delivery of the keepsake(s) within 10 days of notification that the keepsake(s) is completed, Memories In Flower Preservation shall charge me a £50 storage fee for each additional week the display remains on the premises. In the event that I do not contact Memories In Flower Preservation within 60 days of notification, my keepsake(s) will be considered abandoned and will become property of Memories In Flower Preservation. I understand I would then have no right to receive monetary reimbursement for the keepsake(s) nor receive monies previously paid.
- I understand that the turnaround time is 25 – 36 weeks but at peak times this may be longer, anything up to 40 weeks is subject to change due to various events that could delay the preservation process.
- I understand that I should follow the care instructions given to me by Memories In Flower Preservation to keep my keepsake in the best condition possible.
- Please be advised to use chunky tealight candles or artificial candles with your tealight candle holders.
By placing an order I thereby agree to the terms and conditions set out above.
